Welcome. A quick word on what this blog is — and what it isn’t.

I only plan to write when I have something meaningful to share with those interested in following along. That means posts here will probably be infrequent, but hopefully impactful. No content calendar, no filler — if something shows up here, it’s because I thought it was worth your time.

What you can expect

Old problems, new tools. After two decades of building software, I have a deep backlog of problems I’ve solved the hard way. I might resurface some of them here and look at how I’d tackle them today with AI in the loop.

Whatever the smoker teaches me. I spend a lot of my free time tinkering with BBQ projects, and since this blog is written in that same free time, don’t be surprised if some of what shows up here comes off the smoker instead of out of the editor. Low and slow turns out to be a good philosophy for more than brisket.
